Moises Alou hit a home run yesterday in Rookie ball.
More importantly, he played baseball for the first time since the invention of this. And that's all I have to say.

If anyone has flipped on ESPN recently, they may have seen the Mexican sports moment thing they've been serving lately. It's a minute or so of a Latino woman giving a quick glance at the Mexican sports and other sports involving hispanic decendants. Perhaps I am alone here, but does this seem like a thing they had to do and just followed the guidelines very loose? The woman speaks in English, which I think defeats the whole purpose, and it lasts like one minute. If your going to explain the sports of our close neighbor, how can it take just a minute? That has me mad. Honestly, Sportscenter already does that. The most Spanish thing about it is the woman. Please chime in.

Lastings Milledge again drives in runs! Two to be exact, along with a Jose Reyes homer. Ollie Perez gets the win, and Billy Wagner gets the save. Mets take three of four. |
