View Article  Torre In Turmoil

As the Mets lost tonight, the Yanks dead man walking manager  Joe Torre had a tough day too (excuse me while I try to stop laughing)

Here is a taste of the bumbling he fed the media.

"You really have to let go of the final score because of a lot of times you can't control it. You can only control what you can control, and that's all based on effort,...... "I have no trouble sleeping tonight, other than the final score."

okay, so lemme get this straight. you can't control the final score? so then why do we not like it when our team fails to score, or when a closer blows a save to control a score?  I courtsy to you Joe.  But first tell me two things, why are you "have no trouble sleeping tonight, other than the final score" if you let go of the final score, do you have multiple personalities? And next, tell me where you learned to publicaly speak, I'm having trouble lately talking like a dumb ass.

Next Joe got a hit from the new mr. controversy Gary Sheffield. Gary accused the Yankees of being a team that treats the black players much differantly, stating that black players would be called out in front of the team, while whites were called into the office. Torre said  "I just don't even want to answer those types of questions because I feel comfort not answering,"

it seems like everytime he talks I lose IQ pts.

Sheffield said this about his comments- "Whether you like it or not I'm going to answer."  I guess you weren't the type of guy to hold on to dates that long. Hey Shef, some girl needs to know if her outfit makes her look fat

The Good- Heilman pitched a scoreless inning, as did Mota, and Show. Milledge got his first homer of the season

The Bad- Maine gets his first loss in quite a bit. The Mets left a guys on in key situations, despite the 4 runs

The Ugly- look at the runs given up to The Reds.  Plus Gotay had 2 errors
