I bet you could tell me before the season even started that the Mets would be buyers rather than sellers at the trading deadline.
But if you had any doubts in your mind about the subject, well, this All-Star break had to have changed a lot of theose doubts. The bevvy of moves that Omar Minaya has made in the past 24 hours show that he is in this season to win it.
Whether he acquires a corner outfield bat or a reliever, a starter perhaps, I am now confident that Omar and the Wilpons will definitely be agressive when July 31st rolls around.
