In what I like to call a "Little Omar Move", such as with signing Endy Chavez, the Mets have signed former Met Marlon Anderson to their minor league system, and will most likely called up to play the role of David Newhan's replacement.

Anderson was one of the best pinch-hitters the Mets have ever had in recent years, right up there with Lenny Harris and Tony Clark.

You may remember in 2005 Marlon Anderson became one of the few Mets to ever hit an inside-the-park home run, against the Angels.

I like the moves.
