e games.Reynoso was most likely remembered as a Met for his beautiful mustache, better than Jose Valentin's, while obviously not as nice as Keith Hernandez's.
Reynoso, who first broke into the league from Mexico when the Braves purchased his contract, was traded by the Rockies to the Mets for pitcher Jerry DiPoto, who accumulated a 27-24 win-loss record over his career with a 4 ERA.
Reynoso, who had a 68-62 record overall in his career, was then signed as a free agent by the Arizona Diamondbacks, and played for their championship team in 2001, and then rode the team out until 2002, where he officially announced his retirement after 11 years in the major leagues.
