Pedro Martinez, in a bullpen session yesterday in Port St. Lucie, upped his pitch count to 50 from his previous 31 pitches, and again reported no pain in his session.

Another session, according to the Daily News, is scheduled for Friday, again in Port St. Lucie.

As you may have known, Pedro seems to be back to '98 form, where he won a Cy Young, according to hjimself, Rick Peterson and other various sources.
