Dave Mlicki is a starting pitcher from Cleveland, Ohio, who played for the Mets for 3 1/2 years, from 1995-1998.

Mlicki, who is now retired and 38 years old, was never a standout pitcher by any means.  His best season with the Mets came in 1995, when he went 9-7 with a 4.26 ERA.

Mlicki was in a rotation for the Mets that had a pretty solid run, including Bobby Jones, Pete Harnisch, Jason Isringhausen, Brett Saberhagen, Bill Pulsipher, and battery mate Todd Hundley in 1995.

Mlicki was drafted in the 1990 amateur by the Cleveland Indians, and was acquired by the Mets in a trade that got them Paul Byrd, in exchange for Jeromy Burnitz and Joe Roa.  Mlicki left the Mets in a trade to the Dodgers in 1998 that acquired us Hideo Nomo.

In his 8 year career, Mlicki played for the Indians, Mets, Dodgers, Tigers, and Astros, a total of 5 teams.
