Ken Davidoff of Newsday had a segment today about the stories of this year's spring training and what to watch for.
Everything seemed to be in order, however Davidoff seemed a little biased towards the Mets.
Keep in mind that the section was not based on the New York area, rather the entire Major Leagues.
He said that the number one unique stop in the major leagues was to see Guillermo Mota pitch despite his 50-game suspension for the regular season.
...to be quite honest, kenny baby, that does not really enthuse me...
Also, his number one story of spring training 2007 is the battle of pitching staff for the Mets; who's in and who's out.
....this can not be the biggest story of the spring training because you have glav, el duque and maine penciled in, you have to think that ollie is pretty much set, so that's a battle for one pitching spot, a battle that occurs on most every pitching staff. very few teams go into spring training knowing their rotations...
....how about the barry bonds saga, zito in san francisco or randy johnson returning to arizona...
